The Liberty Days Arts Festival is coming to nostalgic downtown Morris. The MDDP's Liberty Days Committee is partnering with Lonnie Mathison of Lonnie’s Arts Gallery to bring this event to the annual Liberty Days festivities. Liberty Days is held in the heart of downtown with concerts, food, activities and even a visit from President and Mrs. Lincoln.

The Arts Festival is being held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 28 on the Grundy County Courthouse Lawn. Participants must provide their own tent, table, chairs, etc. The cost for a 10’x 10’ space is $25. Set up will begin at 7 a.m. Participants must be set up by 8:30 a.m. and are expected to stay until 5 p.m.

To participate, download a form at www.downtownmorris.com/liberty-days/ or contact Julie Applegate at 815-941-0245 or at mddp@downtwonmorris.com, or Lonnie Mathison at 832-421-8899. Completed forms should be returned to Lonnie’s Arts Gallery, 108 W. Washington St., Morris, by June 9.
