The Grundy County Highway Department will be reconstructing the Indian Trail Road bridge over Hog Run, located approximately one-fourth a mile west of the intersection of Indian Trail Road and Gonnam Road in Norman Township.

Reconstruction of the bridge will require the closure of Indian Trail Road at the bridge for several weeks, according to a news release from Grundy County. “D” Construction of Coal City has been contracted to perform this work.

Construction is planned to start Wednesday and is expected to last four to eight weeks depending on weather, according to the news release. Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
