The curbs and pavement along Washington Street between Wauponsee and Route 47 are getting a makeover this week and next.

The curbs and pavement along Washington Street between Wauponsee and Route 47 are getting a makeover this week and next.

The construction has curtailed parking in the area, but Morris engineer Guy Christensen estimates the curb work will be finished by Tuesday and should not affect the Grundy County Farm Bureau anniversary parade next week.

The road repavement also should be finished within the next two weeks, he said.
