A Servant’s Heart appoints new position

OTTAWA – A Servant’s Heart ministry’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Judy Denbo the new Ccommunity kitchen supervisor, replacing Roy Peters who resigned to assume a position with Ottawa Community Food Basket. 

Denbo has served as the assistant supervisor for five years, working through the Experience Works program. A Servant’s Heart Community Kitchen is at the Evangelical Methodist Church, 1116 Illinois Ave., Ottawa, and serves lunches five days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A Servant’s Heart ministry is a nondenominational, Christian, nonprofit ministry. It provides crisis intervention to the homeless and needy of LaSalle County.
