Mr. Richard Dee Warren, age 50, of Morris passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 30, 2009, while working in Indiana.

Born October 18, 1958, in New Madrid County, Mo., he was the son of the late William and Virginia (Sanders) Warren.

Richard was educated in schools in Plano.  On November 5, 2004 he married Brenda (Friant) Ness.

He was employed for many years with VIM Recycles of Aurora.

Richard was very active supporter of the Morris Redskins Football Team and was a member of the quarterback club.

His life centered around his family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. They loved their great papa.

Richard and Brenda enjoyed attending the First United Methodist Church of Morris.

Surviving is his wife Brenda, three children; Lesa (Jeremy) Moore of Ottawa, Sarah (Robert) Dix of Minooka and Richard of Morris, six grandchildren; Masen, Skyler, Brock and Ebyn Moore, Robert Jr. and Katie Dix, several nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by nine brothers and sisters;  Ronnie (Gladys) Warren of Minonk, Jerry (Cheryl) Warren of Pontiac, Shirley Foyer of Springfield, Mo., Choppy (Ann) Warren of Aurora, Bonnie (Jim) Abell of Oswego, Brenda Curtis of Yorkville,Teresa (James) Russell of Sheridan, Sherry Christensen of Oswego and John Warren of Tucson, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister and two nieces.

Funeral Services will be held Friday July 3, 2009 at 6:00pm at the U. C. Davis and Sons Funeral Home Ltd. with Pastor Dianne Gillham of the First United Methodist Church officiating.  Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday July 3, 2009 at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will follow.
