
Construction very minimal in OctoberThere was little construction in Morris during October, as Bill Cheshareck, building and zoning director, issued only 11 permits. Matthew Foster of Dwight paid $25 for a permit Oct. 20 to build a $14,500 detached garage for William Tabler at 628 E. Jefferson St. Danley Lumber of Northbrook paid $25 for a permit Oct. 9 to construct an $8,500 detached garage for Teresa Doss at 732 E. Illinois Avenue. James Jongewaard, 101 Briar Lane, paid $15 for a permit Oct. 21 to install a $2,800 storage building. Permits for fences, at $15 each, were issued to Jeffery Jackson, 732 Old Stage Road, Oct. 20 to construct a $2,500 fence, and Sean Wojtczak, 760 W. Jackson, Oct. 29 for a $1,200 fence. Re-roofing permits, at $25 each, were issued to Dale Stout, McLindon Road, Minooka, Oct. 16 for 715 E. Benton St.; and Duchene Construction, Joliet, Oct. 22 for 2626 Switchgrass Road. Permits for electrical upgrades, at $35 each, were issued to Sherman Tratt, 710 Spruce St., and Michael Harder, 947 E. Jackson St. Morris Dermatology, 1499 Lakewood, paid $50 for a permit Oct. 26 to reface the existing sign. Rose Marie Ehrman of the Morris Community Credit Union paid $25 for a permit Oct. 14 to install a new sign at 220 E. High Street. Comments
