Police: Intoxicated woman drove over concrete island

MINOOKA police arrested a woman for DUI about 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

Heathe Quinn, 21, Channahon, was charged after she was stopped near Ridge Road and Clennon Drive.

Officer Chris Chiaventone reported police saw Quinn drive over a concrete island. After stopping her vehicle, he reported she smelled of liquor and appeared intoxicated. Quinn failed the field tests and was charged with DUI.

Taken to the police department, Quinn registered .183 on the Breathalyzer test (.08 is legal intoxication).
