DWIGHT - Mrs. Dorothy Lund, 78, of Dwight, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Heritage Manor in Dwight.

Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the memorial home with Pastor Heidi Punt officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Dwight.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Born Aug. 17, 1931, in Morris, Mrs. Lund was the daughter of Jonas and Mary Mickelson. She married Francis Lund on April 28, 1951, in Lisbon, Ill. He survives in Dwight.

Survivors also include daughters, Barb Lund of Lisle, Ill., Jackie (Pat) Warkins of Sterling, Ill., Karen (Ron) Boughton of Lancaster, Pa., Patti (Skip) Crawford of Bloomington, Ill., Peggy (Marc) Dunlap of Pekin, Ill., Sharon (Ed) Huetten of Tampa, Fla.; sons, Doug (Patti Horton) Lund of Hillsborough, N.J. and Dave Lund of Bartlett; 10 grandchildren, Chris Warkins, Ben Warkins, Angela Fairman, Jennifer Boughton, Katie Crawford, Sarah Crawford, Heather Dunlap, Brad Dunlap, Jenna Huetten and Shane Huetten; one great-grandchild, Mia Fairman; one sister, Marilyn (Bob) Erickson of Morris; and one brother, Orville (Joan) Mickelson of Ft. Atkinson, Wis.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Lund was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in  Dwight. She worked at the Bank of Dwight from 1979 to 1987.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
