Celebrity Real Estate Roundup: Jessica Simpson, Bruce Willis

(Continued from Page 1)

By Laura Vecsey

Jessica Simpson Meets Ozzy Osbourne

What better place for Jessica Simpson to raise her (soon-to-be) two kids than the house where the bat-head-eating rocker Ozzy Osbourne and family once filmed their surprisingly domestic reality TV show?

Simpson and her fiancé may have put their wedding plans on hold until the birth of their second child later this year, but they appear to be making a bold move – straight to the Hidden Hills home once owned by Osbourne and his wife, Sharon. The 11,000-square-foot abode, which was listed for $13 million, will double the size of Simpson’s current Beverly Hills residence, affirming again that size does matter.

Bruce Willis Has Found What He’s Looking For

Word is that “Die Hard” star Bruce Willis has bought the fantastically art-gallery-esque New York apartment owned by U2 bassist Adam Clayton. The Upper West Side abode was listed for $8.695 million but Willis reportedly shelled out $8 million for the 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom residence in the famed El Dorado building, not far from where Willis and his ex, Demi Moore, used to live on Central Park West. Like Willis, who has a young daughter with his new wife, Clayton, too, has a young son – his first child after years of being U2’s enviable bachelor.

Marco Rubio: Goodbye Neighbors Who Depend on Social Security & Medicare

Sen. Marco Rubio used his role as rebutter to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address to talk about his hometown of West Miami. The Republican frontrunner for the 2016 presidential race has long used his immigrant parents’ history to underscore his understanding of the American experience. But what the 39-year-old Cuban-American did not mention is that his West Miami house at 6060 SW 13th St. is on the market, listed for $675,000. According to reports, Rubio and his wife bought the house in 2005 for $550,000, and has since racked up another $135,000 equity loan against the 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home. Rubio’s spokesman confirmed that Rubio is moving his wife and four kids to D.C. fulltime.

Dave Matthews Looking to Crash in Cali

South African-born and Virginia-raised rocker Dave Matthews took a shine to Seattle a few years back, settling on a modest bungalow in the Wallingford neighborhood just north of downtown. But maybe Matthews is in need of a little bit more sunshine, considering his recent purchase in Malibu. After a smashing concert tour last year, Matthews could well afford the $6.575 million country-estate-like abode set on just less than 2 acres; complete with sunny backyard pool where he can swim, or watch the ants go marching.
