CHICAGO, Ill. — A federal/state Disaster Recovery Center opened Friday, May 17, in Marseilles for residents of La Salle County to meet face-to-face with disaster recovery specialists, officials said today.

James L. Nelson, 53, of Mor-ris, was arrested by Grundy County Sheriff’s police May 17 on a charge of possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis. Nelson posted bond and was released with a June 7 court date.
